A rare independent vhs released, in 1999 features a thick cast of underground artists. From the infamous Madlib down to the then only 12" fame Sound Providers to the underground mc's in the east, legends such as Pharoahe Monch, J-treds and The Last Emperor. The video is coming up on its 1oth anniversary now takes you back to the late 90's when these artists we strugglin to get their music heard. Each artists has around a 5-7 mins. segments, while offering live clips to backstage freestyles. Producers J. Rawls, Geology help produce the original score during interludes and the introduction. The history of these groups are monumental. Some of the other groups featured are The Refection Eternal, Cali Agents, Mr. Complex and The beat junkies.+ like 5 other crews. This video is hard to find and will never find its way onto dvd. This documentary pushed me forward in my journey threw hip-hop. check the , clips>
